Roma finished second in their Europa League group behind Slavia Praha, forcing them to face off against Feyenoord in the knockout playoffs. After things ended 1-1 after 120 minutes, the Giallorossi edged out a win in a tense penalty shootout.

Atalanta had the simplest of the three paths, simply topping a group containing Sporting CP, Sturm Graz and Rakow Czestochowa to take them to the Round of 16.

UEFA completed their Europa League knockout draw today, pairing Milan against Slavia Praha, Roma against Brighton and Atalanta against Sporting.

The group winners play the first leg away and the second leg at home, giving a slight advantage to Atalanta compared to their compatriots.
