Samuel Eto'o has declared that he believes Inter are still in the title race despite currently being 13 points behind leaders Milan.

The Nerazzurri have had a tough start to the season and have already shown boss Rafael Benitez the door.

However, the Cameroon international is optimistic that they can rediscover the kind of form that saw them win five trophies in 2010.

"I hope that after a bad start to the campaign that we can win the Scudetto again," said the former Barcelona ace.

"I hope that after a bad start to the campaign that we can win the Scudetto again," said the former Barcelona ace.

"It's a personal challenge which I think is possible because Inter have the best squad in the Italian championship.

"We've had our problems and although we are 13 points behind with two games in hand, we can do it.

"I want to enjoy the rest of the season and would love to take the title away from Milan."

Inter, now bossed by Leonardo, resume their Serie A campaign on Thursday evening at San Siro against an impressive Napoli side who are currently second in the table.
