Filippo Inzaghi may be presented with a way out of his Milan contract, through a move abroad to La Liga side Espanyol.

According to Catalan-based publication Sport, Los Periquitos are said to be considering a move for the 38-year-old forward this January as they look to reinforce an otherwise inconsistent front-line.

The report also goes on to indicate that Inzaghi is attracting interest from Lazio and two unnamed Premier League clubs.

The forward missed six months of last season with an anterior cruciate ligament injury to his knee and has struggled for full fitness this term, with Milan Coach Massimiliano Allegri suggesting that he rarely trains enough to be considered for first-team involvement at San Siro.
