Aleksey Miranchuk arrived at the Institute of Sports Medicine in Turin this morning to undergo a round of medicals ahead of a transfer to Torino.
The 26-year-old Russian forward is preparing to join the Granata on a loan deal with a buy option attached from Atalanta. Talks between the parties stalled in recent weeks but things finally progressed yesterday, helping the deal across the line.
Miranchuk joined Atalanta in September 2020 from Lokomotiv Moscow in a deal worth around €14.5m. In his two years in Bergamo, the Russian forward scored nine goals and provided seven assists in 56 appearances across all competitions.
