Gareth Southgate has named his England squad for the EURO 2024 qualifiers against Italy and Ukraine, leaving out Milan’s Fikayo Tomori and Roma striker Tammy Abraham.

The Three Lions are due to face Italy at the Stadio Diego Armando Maradona in Naples on Thursday March 23, then host Ukraine on Sunday March 26.

They are in the same European Championship qualifying group as Malta and North Macedonia.

Southgate announced his squad for these two fixtures and brings back Ivan Toney from Brentford.

However, despite their improving form in Serie A and European club football, the manager has again snubbed Milan defender Tomori and Roma centre-forward Abraham.

England squad:

Goalkeepers: Pickford (Everton), Pope (Newcastle), Ramsdale (Arsenal)

Defenders: Chilwell (Chelsea), Dier (Tottenham), Guehi (Crystal Palace), James (Chelsea), Maguire (Manchester United), Shaw (Manchester United), Stones (Manchester City), Trippier (Newcastle), Walker (Manchester City)

Midfielders: Bellingham (Borussia Dortmund), Gallagher (Chelsea), Henderson (Liverpool), Maddison (Leicester), Mount (Chelsea), Phillips (Manchester City), Rice (West Ham)

Forwards: Foden (Manchester City), Grealish (Manchester City), Kane (Tottenham), Rashford (Manchester United), Saka (Arsenal), Toney (Brentford)
