Roma left-back Emerson Palmieri has reportedly agreed a four-and-a-half-year contract with Chelsea, leaving a transfer fee the stumbling block.
According to Tuttomercatoweb, Emerson will earn €2.5m a season if his move to Chelsea goes through.
However, the website warns there is still a €5m difference in valuation, with the Blues having come in at €20m.
The Giallorossi would want an extra €5m for the Italo-Brazilian, albeit in the form of bonus payments.
