Stephan El Shaarawy has admitted that he is enjoying his season so far at Milan and hopes to aim for the Capocannoniere award.

The 20-year-old forward has made an exceptional start to the campaign scoring 14 goals in 17 League matches, and has conceded that to sit on top of the goalscoring charts is a nice feeling.

“I am having a good time this season,” he told Milan Channel. “I am scoring a lot of goals.

“Hopefully this situation goes on for as long as possible. Do I aspire to the Capocannoniere? Well, staying ahead of the likes of Miroslav Klose and Edinson Cavani is a good feeling.”

He also commented on the Rossoneri's match with Roma this weekend, as well as the impact Coach Massimiliano Allegri has had and the future of Robinho.

“Against Roma we will focus on the three points because we want to end the year with some success,” he said.

“It is going to be a tough challenge against an opponent who is very technical and have some great players.

“We will have to concentrate because they have the ability to take advantage of any space we may give them.

“Robinho has been in good shape since he came back from injury and has helped us a lot. I hope he stays.

“Allegri has helped us overcome a crisis and the start of the season and deserves to stay on the bench.”
