Stephan El Shaarawy says “there’s a lot of work to be done” as he arrives to complete his Roma move.

The forward is set to join on loan from Milan, having been frozen out by Monaco, where he spent the first half of the season.

“I feel ready, and I hope to give my contribution,” El Shaarawy told fans and media as he arrived at Fiumicino airpot.

“I think there’s not much to talk about, and a lot of work to be done. I’m fired-up, motivated and enthusiastic.

El Shaarawy is joining the Giallorossi until the end of the season, and the capital club will have the option to make the deal permanent in the summer.

The 23-year-old will have his medical tomorrow, before joining up with his new teammates for a training session at Trigoria.
