Over recent weeks, the Neroverdi Coach has been linked with the Giallorossi as well as Inter and Fiorentina, with all three clubs likely to have new bosses in place by the start of next season.

Speaking to Calcio 2000, however, the 47-year-old said he is tired of the speculation over his future.

"I decided to tie my future to Sassuolo," Di Francesco commented. "I'm talking seriously, I'm fed up of speaking about the links.

"I could stay for many years, just like I could leave very soon. Hypothetically, the importance and seriousness of the project will be criticial to the choice of my new team.

"We will see [about Roma], if they want me someone will have to pay. I cost €3m, that's the value of my release clause. It's not a small amount.

"What does the club want from me? They want young players to develop and hope that we can finish a little higher in the League table.

"However, we can't think about finishing in the top five. In certain projects, results should not be the priority over the growth of young players.

"At Sassuolo there is everything and I am happy."

The tactician, who has guided Sassuolo to the Serie B title and into the Europa League during his time at the club, added that he would like to coach abroad in the future.

"I would like that even more than Italy. But I still don't think it's the right moment."
