“The rumours about me are a source of pride, it says that my work is being followed and appreciated – but for now it’s only gossip,” he said to Tuttosport.

“The rumours about me are a source of pride, it says that my work is being followed and appreciated – but for now it’s only gossip,” he said to Tuttosport.
“The one certain thing is that I have another year on my contract at Sassuolo and I’m doing well. Nothing else matters.
“The Europa League isn’t a simple objective, think about the battle for third place that involves Roma, Fiorentina and Inter.
“There are many teams stronger than us, for now we’re only thinking about enjoying ourselves and getting great satisfaction together with our fans.
“Don’t forget that we started with the goal of staying up. Now that we’re in a good position it’s not easy to ask for more from my guys.”
