“I hope Juve win the Coppa, because it’d be fantastic to compete in Europe,” Di Francesco told Gazzetta dello Sport.

“I can’t understand how the Europa League could be considered as a nuisance. For us it would be another step in our growth.
“We are the second team of many football lovers and this is a great victory. I’m happy to have created something together with the club, a strong identity on and off the pitch. We’re a family and, believe me, that’s not a cliché.
“Berardi really is like a son so I don’t want to put pressure on him. Perhaps he didn’t fulfil his potential in the last season but he has matured. Also from a behavioural point of view. He deserves a big opportunity.
“Juve are the club most suited to a player like Berardi. He’s talent who can endure a change of team and environment. Juve would help him settle in and would wait for him.”
