However, after last term pushing them to the Champions League semi-final and scoring this Champions League hat-trick last night, Dzeko’s tally now stands at 77 goals in 147 appearances.

This puts him in the top 10 of all-time Roma scorers, only two behind Dino Da Costa and within reach of Marco Delvecchio on 81.

Abel Balbo is in seventh on 87 goals, Vincenzo Montella 102, Pedro Manfredini 104, Rodolfo Volk 106, Amedeo Amadei 111, Roberto Pruzzo 138 and beyond all reach Francesco Totti with 307 goals.
