Paulo Dybala’s agent Jorge Antun will reportedly hold talks with Juventus directors on Thursday in a crucial meeting for the Argentinean’s contract extension in Turin.

Dybala sees his current deal expire in the summer and the two parties seemed to have reached an agreement only a few weeks ago. Dybala and Juventus had reportedly shaken hands on a new €10m-a-year deal including add-ons, but the offer is no longer on the table as Juventus have changed their strategy.

The striker’s physical issues and the signing of Dusan Vlahovic in the January transfer window have changed the scenario and negotiations must start from scratch now.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Juventus directors will meet Jorge Antun on Thursday. Dybala is on a €7.3m-a-year deal in Turin and the Bianconeri will likely offer him a lower salary, around €7m per season plus add-ons. It remains to be seen if Dybala will accept the Old Lady’s proposal or if he will walk away as a free agent at the end of the season.

Inter CEO Beppe Marotta has already spoken to Dybala’s representative and other clubs in Europe are interested in securing his services: Atletico Madrid, Barcelona and Tottenham Hotspur.
