New Roma signing Seydou Doumbia has spoken of his happiness after arriving in Italy for the first time.
The Ivorian striker signed for the Giallorossi in the transfer window, but has been unable to join up with his new teammates as he was competing for Ivory Coast in the African Cup of Nations.
Les Éléphants lifted the trophy, and Doumbia and teammate Gervinho have arrived in Rome this morning.
“I’m very happy to be here.” the latter told journalists on his arrival.
