President Enrico Preziosi has told Luca Antonini he’s not part of Genoa’s plans after rejecting a transfer to Watford.
The defender refused a transfer to the English side in the January transfer window, despite the two clubs having reportedly agreed a deal.
“He must be the one to clarify his situation, not me,” Preziosi is reported as saying by PianetaGenoa.

“Antonini will have all of our respect as long as he continues to play for the club. Regarding the technical aspects and his behaviour that’s something he’d have to answer himself.
“For me, he’s a Genoa player and must be respected.
“Antonini knows how things went, we’ll clarify things when the time is right, but he’s definitely not in our plans anymore.”
