Juventus winger Douglas Costa has been left out of the Brazil squad, partly due to spitting at Federico Di Francesco of Sassuolo.

The 28-year-old has been given a four game Serie A ban for his actions last weekend, and may be out anyway after being injured in the win over Valencia.

“As I’ve said on other occasions, there will be a chance for those who were out,” Tite said at the Press conference to announce his squad.

“It was an act which showed a lack of discipline.”

Douglas Costa's Juventus teammate Alex Sandro has been called-up, as has Miranda of Inter.

Brazil will play Saudi Arabia and Argentina next month.
