Lazio have confirmed that their Europa League match against Dnipro in Ukraine next Thursday will be played behind closed doors.

UEFA had already noted in June that last season’s finalists would be penalised after their fans invaded the pitch during their semi-final against Napoli, set off flares and sang racist chants.

The Ukrainian side were also fined €70,000 and will therefore begin the new European campaign against the Biancocelesti in an empty stadium.
