New Coach Sousa has underlined his rotation policy, while revealing that defenders Gonzalo Rodriguez and Facundo Roncaglia are in doubt after long journeys.

"Everyone will get a chance to play during the season and I have to do a good job in choosing the best players,” Sousa said at today’s pre-match Press conference.

"The intention is always to let all our attackers play. Kalinic and Babacar have both worked well.

“Baba must prove that he wants to play. He is improving a lot physically and mentally. He’s able to play, but I don’t know if he can for 90 minutes.

“This week was different. I was pleased that so many players were called up for their national teams, but it wasn’t easy to prepare for the match.

“Gonzalo and Roncaglia are coming off gruelling journeys, we know that flights dehydrate our bodies a lot.

“They're fine physically but they are still at a higher risk of injury. We will see, tomorrow we’ll decide what’s best.

"Vecino is fully integrated. He’s a golden boy and was very close to playing from the start against Milan. He’s ready and I hope he can show the consistency he had last year as soon as possible.

"Kuba Blaszczykowski has only had three or four training sessions with us, but team has welcomed him very well because we have a big group.”
