“Tomorrow is an important test for us that can give us, after two good matches, a measure of where we stand,” he said at today’s pre-match Press conference.

“It’s better that we get these hard matches against Fiorentina, Lazio, Juventus and Milan done straight away.

“There is a great team spirit and we have good morale. We know that they will be four difficult games but we have the desire to do well.

"The fact that Fiorentina played with superiority against Milan has eased things a little, while they were winning against Torino.

“Fiorentina, the first two matches aside, are a good team and it will be a difficult game for us but we have the ambition to do well.

“I think this is a much more balanced championship than last year, also for the top-level teams. Fiorentina are a team that has been at a pretty high standard for many years. This year there won’t be much disparity because many teams have reinforced a lot.”
