Gianluigi Donnarumma thanks Giampiero Ventura and Gianluigi Buffon after making his Italy debut.

The 17-year-old goalkeeper replaced Buffon for the second half of the friendly with France, and is seen by many as the heir to the Juventus veteran.

“It was a huge thrill to be called-up to the national team,” Donnarumma told Sky.

“I thank Ventura for the opportunity. As for Buffon, he gave me lots of advice in training, he told me to have fun. It was fantastic.”
