“This is the proof that football is unpredictable,” grinned Bologna's brace hero Marco Di Vaio after conquering Juventus.

“We had so little time to prepare for this match, yet we came away with our first win here in over 30 years,” smiled the striker after a 2-0 triumph.

The Rossoblu should've been tired, having played their rescheduled game against Roma on Wednesday in a 1-0 defeat.

“This is the proof that football is unpredictable. We are continuing to play well and remain solid, then of course everyone needs that little bit of luck.

“We have achieved something nobody expected and are very happy.”

Di Vaio's first goal was almost a lob over the goalkeeper, while his second saw him shrug off two tackles.

“I saw Giorgio Chiellini coming, so mainly just wanted to get my foot to the ball before him. I was fortunate that it turned into that perfect looping finish with just the right power on it.

“The most satisfying part of this night for me is that I have never been able to beat Juventus in Turin as an opponent before.”
