Antonio Di Natale’s Udinese take on hometown club Napoli for third place tomorrow and he looks back at their Europa League exit.

Both clubs went out of Europe this week, as the Partenopei were beaten 4-1 in extra time at Chelsea, while the Friulani’s 2-1 victory over AZ Alkmaar was not enough.

“It’s a shame that two Italians have gone out of Europe and I think they will both be tired after those efforts,” said Di Natale.

“They remain two very important sides who can fight for third place and Champions League qualification.

“We had been on the right track and went 2-0 up early on, which made our exit all the more disappointing.

“Will there be a psychological hangover from that match? No, it’s more likely to be a physical one.”
