Eusebio Di Francesco felt Sassuolo “would’ve brought home a result with a little more luck” in Palermo.
Despite being down to 10 men, the Neroverdi had equalised in Sicily only for Andrea Belotti to decide the 2-1 victory in stoppages.

Despite being down to 10 men, the Neroverdi had equalised in Sicily only for Andrea Belotti to decide the 2-1 victory in stoppages.
“It’s a shame, that was a bit of a strange match,” the Sassuolo Coach told Sky Sport Italia.
“We went behind after a couple of minutes and went on to dominate the first half. We held out and believed right to the very end.
“We would’ve brought home a result with a little more luck. I expected the wingers to attack the space more and create more chances.
“We did so well against Roma last week, but still need to grow. I liked the mentality of the team.”
This defeat ended Sassuolo’s Serie A club record nine-match unbeaten run.
