The Aquile went through a negative run of one point from three rounds, but got back on track with last week’s somewhat fortunate win away to Parma.

Stefan Radu has shaken off a knock to start in defence, but Lucas Biglia joins Antonio Candreva, Emerson Braafheid, Ederson, Diego Novaretti, Bruno Pereirinha, Michael Ciani and Santiago Gentiletti on the absentee list.

Marco Parolo is also suspended in midfield, so Alejandro Gonzalez and Cristian Ledesma step in.

Felipe Anderson’s confidence is sky high after he scored his debut Serie A goal against Parma and netted in the Coppa Italia win over Varese.

Djordjevic is again chosen in favour of Miroslav Klose, leaving the veteran German on the bench.

Atalanta have the least effective strike force in Serie A, but found a breakthrough last week when fighting back from 2-0 down to beat Cesena 3-2.

That result took them away from the relegation zone and Coach Stefano Colantuono declared he wants to “keep that momentum going.”

Davide Zappacosta is on the treatment table along with Cristian Raimondi and Marcelo Estigarribia.

Maxi Moralez moves out wide as the Orobici bring centre-forward Rolando Bianchi in to partner German Denis.

Lazio: Marchetti; Basta, De Vrij, Cana, Radu; Gonzalez, Ledesma, Lulic; Mauri, Djordjevic, Felipe Anderson

Atalanta: Sportiello; Benaluoane, Stendardo, Cherubin, Del Grosso; Migliaccio, Cigarini, Carmona, Maxi Moralez; Bianchi, Denis
