However, Neroverdi President Giorgio Squinzi denied that earlier today, and now the Coach has had his say.
“The directors have told me that he’ll stay with us,” Di Francesco told Sky.

“I haven’t heard anything from the club about him going anywhere. Of course, the transfer market is clearly unpredictable.
“He has the ability to choose, and it’s right that he does that.”
Sassuolo are one of four teams looking to sign Pescara striker Gianluca Lapadula.
“We’re following him just as other teams are. Let’s see who will win and what the player’s choice will be.”
