Details behind Milan’s plan to sign Tottenham and Napoli target Radu Dragusin have been revealed, involving a potential player-plus-cash deal with young striker Lorenzo Colombo moving in the other direction.

News of Milan’s intention to join the race for Dragusin broke earlier on Monday, with La Repubblica claiming that the Rossoneri are in ‘pole position’ to sign the 21-year-old centre-back.

Recent updates from MilanNews’ Antonio Vitiello detail that Milan value Colombo in the region of €12m-€15m and that they are willing to invest a further €10m in cash to bring Dragusin to San Siro.

Dragusin is thought to be valued in the region of €25m.

Colombo is currently on loan at Monza, but Genoa coach Alberto Gilardino would not be opposed to working with the 21-year-old striker at the Stadio Ferraris.

However, Milan are far from being the only interested party in the former Juventus academy graduate.

Premier League Tottenham have made strong attempts to bring Dragusin to North London this transfer window. The same can be said about Napoli and the Stadio Maradona.

Bayern Munich are the most recent heavyweights to enter the fight for Dragusin, and they along with Tottenham are in a position to offer Genoa €25m in cash plus bonuses according to recent reports.
