This is a middle ground between the Roma demand of €18m and Monaco's first €12m offer.

Agent Claudio Vigorelli is set to meet with Monaco and Roma directors tonight to finalise the details.

Destro is currently on vacation in Mykonos, but could fly back for a medical in Monte Carlo.

It’s believed Roma hope to sign a big-name new striker – maybe Manchester City’s Edin Dzeko – with cash raised from selling Destro to Monaco and Gervinho to Al Jazira.

Seydou Doumbia is also expected to go elsewhere after just six months at the Stadio Olimpico.
