The director who took Paulo Dybala to Italy reveals intriguing clues on his future amid Manchester United rumours. ‘He never liked the Premier League, I can see him at Inter.’

Giorgio Perinetti was the Palermo director of sport when scouting a teenage Dybala in Argentina in 2012 and transforming him into a superstar.

Now La Joya is leaving Juventus as a free agent on June 30 and there are several options on the table.

According to the Corriere dello Sport, incoming Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag would find a way to balance Dybala with Cristiano Ronaldo, following on from the not entirely successful partnership their had at Juventus until this term.

However, Perinetti has a very different view of the situation which would also affect other transfer reports around the 28-year-old.

“Dybala has never liked the Premier League, he doesn’t think it is suited to his characteristics,” Perinetti told Tuttomercatoweb.

“If Inter were to replace Lautaro Martinez, then La Joya could certainly be of interest to the Nerazzurri.”

That would also rule out Antonio Conte’s Tottenham Hotspur, along with Arsenal or Liverpool as candidates for Dybala’s signature too.

If he does leave Italy, the Argentina international is tipped for PSG, Atletico Madrid or Real Madrid.

  1. A player of dybala’s quality should not leave as a free agent.he still is a quality player despite his injury problem.this shows d club lacks direction and vision.lots of flops on high salary and the team looks out of sort and lathergic.for me d problem started when moratta left.

  2. @Steve The problems started long before Moratta left. It started with signings like Higuain & siging players like Khedira to long contracts. Moratta is only good at signing players 28+. I like the direction we are going in now. Signing young up and coming players. Next season we will win Serie A again just wait and see

  3. @anon and yet he’s signed Barella, Gosens, Dumfries, Hakimi and Lukaku in his tenure. Hardly +28 players on frees…

  4. No player should go to the Prem unless it’s to Liverpool or City because it’s a 2 team league. The rest are lightyears away.

  5. Dybala will go to inter as they are trying to emulate Juve, conte, morotta, buying old players and getting a tune from them, buying ex Juve players, Dybala is the next step, then they may get pirlo back for midfield, and then coach

  6. Any of the top 6 in England would walk Serie a and someone forgot to mention Chelsea. Even Wolves and West Ham would give them a run for their money.
