There are numerous reports that Blanc has been picked as the next tactician at the Stadio Olimpico, as negotiations have been continuing over the past two days.
“Before saying anything, I want to wait until it is official, but I know they are on the right track with talks,” said Deschamps in a Press conference.
“Laurent wants a bench and a new opportunity to work. Roma are a good club, albeit with a particular type of pressure around them.
“If it is officially confirmed, then I’m very happy for him.”
The Giallorossi turned to Blanc after first choice Massimiliano Allegri decided to stay with Milan.
