The first leg ended 1-0 for Lyon on home turf and the Champions League Round of 16 decider will be on Friday at 20.00 UK time (19.00 GMT).

“I was out for a long time with injury, but now I am back, I’ve played a few games and I think that I’m in good condition,” said the Dutchman in his press conference.

“This is a special match, certainly different from the others. We are still getting used to playing without fans, but we’re doing well.”

While Juventus have played non-stop since the restart in June, Lyon have played only one competitive match since March 8, the Coupe de la Ligue defeat on penalties against PSG on July 31.

“It was a great sensation for me to be back in the squad. We did well, PSG are a huge team and we played them on equal terms. Tomorrow is a different test, we must go beyond those good performances and give our best as a unit against Juve.

“We worked well and I think we’re in good shape for this game.”

Depay is the captain and hadn’t played since suffering an ACL tear in mid-December, but the extended season allowed him to make his comeback on July 31.

“I try to help the team, I can learn from them just as they learn from me. I can play in various roles, but I prefer being in midfield, so I see more of the ball. That’s the direction we’ve been working towards in training.”

It’ll be a Dutch battle tomorrow between Depay and Juventus centre-back Matthijs de Ligt.

“We did meet up in Holland during the lockdown and had a chat. He has done great work in his first season at Juventus and I am very proud of him, but we’ll be rivals tomorrow.”
