“We were creating chances that we didn’t take,” De Zerbi said of Le Streghe’s latest loss.

“The decisive incidents were the first goal conceded after a minute and then the sending off.
“We won against Chievo and Samp. We have also had the opportunity to get points in the last two games.
“But if you concede goals in stupid fashion, you can’t get points.”
Benevento’s nineteenth defeat in 22 League games this season means they are now 12 points adrift of safety.
