Rumours continue to circulate in the British Press that Daniele De Rossi’s move to Chelsea is all-but agreed.

Both the Daily Mirror and the Guardian have claimed this morning that the Roma midfielder is on the verge of a move to the Premier League club, with only minor details to be agreed.

The 29-year-old has been heavily linked with a move to Jose Mourinho’s men this summer, with Giallorossi President James Pallotta admitting that ‘everyone is on the market’.

Both papers believe that a deal has been agreed for the Italy international, however a minor sticking point is a potential loan move for defender Wallace.

The Lupi are keen to bring in the Brazilian full-back on a short-term deal from the west London club, but Roman Abramovich’s team do not want to let the highly-prized 19-year-old go.
