Watch as Charles De Ketelaere scored his first goals in a Milan shirt today in a pre-season friendly match against Serie C side Pergolettese.
The Rossoneri faced off against Serie B side Vicenza in a friendly yesterday and picked up a comfortable 6-1 win as the Belgian talent made his debut. Today in Milanello Stefano Pioli’s side played another friendly against Pergolettese, working hard to prepare for the upcoming Serie A season.
Milan secured another comfortable win today, this time securing a 7-1 victory. De Ketelaere started the match and he netted a first half hattrick, scored three goals in 26 minutes with a penalty, a header and a left-footed strike. 18-year-old talent Marko Lazetic netted a brace and Tommaso Pobega and Yacine Adli also both found themselves on the scoresheet.
Milan’s next game is their Serie A opener against Udinese on August 13 and De Ketelaere will be hoping to start as he looks to make a strong impression on the club’s supporters.
That would boost his confidence going on to the season opening match, I wish he adapt early and can replicate his last season form. All the best to Ac Milan
I doubt he starts vs Udinese. Pioli will reward the players that has been here longer and had a full pre-season. Diaz (most probably) or Adli will start. De Ketelaere may have a slight chance to play at right wing if Messias doesn’t recover.
He’ll soon begin to start matches though, because Diaz can’t hold down that position. He’ll go down the pecking order behind De Ketelaere and the impressive Adli soon enough, and that will be for the best.

My guess is CDK needs more time to adapt to be actually starting games. I hope Tonali recovers and Pobega gets more playing time .
If he starts in the first game it will be up front, depending on Giroud and Rebic. I think Pioli has made it fairly obvious who the 3 behind are when all are fit. CDK will have to get minutes of course with all that money spent but I can see that being on the RW for a while.
