Milan have announced that Nigel De Jong picked up a thigh injury during yesterday’s training session.
The Netherlands international has struggled for game time recently and is rumoured to be set for a move to Werder Bremen in January.
The 30-year-old could now be unavailable for Saturday’s Serie A clash with Juventus, although no expected return date has been announced yet.

“AC Milan announce that during yesterday’s training session, Nigel De Jong reported an injury to his left thigh,” read a statement on Milan’s official website.
“The player will be re-evaluated at the beginning of next week.”
