Frank de Boer is expected in Milan this evening, as he’s set to replace Roberto Mancini at Inter.

It was confirmed this morning that Mancini has parted ways with the Nerazzurri, with the Dutchman the hot favourite to replace him.

According to calciomercato.it, De Boer will fly to Italy this evening to sign his contract with the Beneamata, ahead of an expected presentation tomorrow.

The former defender won four Eredivisie titles during his time in charge of Ajax, and was assistant coach as the Netherlands reached the World Cup final in 2014.

De Boer represented clubs such as Ajax, Barcelona and Rangers during his playing career, as well as winning 112 caps for his country.
