Parma coach Roberto D’Aversa acknowledges Dejan Kulusevski ‘has been decisive this season’ after inspiring a 2-1 victory at Brescia.

The Swede has already signed for Juventus from Atalanta, but was allowed to remain at Parma on loan for the rest of the campaign.

“We have to focus on the present now, but we’ll try to replace him in the best possible way next term,” said D’Aversa in his press conference.

“Dejan has been decisive this season, but we want to get players like Roberto Inglese, Andreas Cornelius and Alberto Grassi back to full fitness.”

Kulusevski provided the assist for Matteo Darmian, then scored the winner with a curler into the far top corner.

“Considering the heat was affecting intensity, we could’ve been more effective in the first half. Despite a few distractions, we did well to take home a deserved win.

“We want to do well in the next game against Atalanta, even though they have been in such good shape since the lockdown. Our objective is to get as many points as possible.”
