“We know this is a tough game and we are up against a Verona side who have done so well this season, but we’ll try to put in a strong performance, regardless of the situation in the table,” Inzaghi told Lazio Style Channel.

“We have reached our main objective, a top four finish. There are still three rounds to go, so we’ve got to end it in the best possible way.”

The injury crisis is starting to ease after it hit a peak in the defeat with Juventus, but remains an issue for the Lazio coach.

“I have a few decisions to make, we have to see how some have recovered from the last game and today’s training session. Francesco Acerbi, Adam Marusic, Denis Vavro and Danilo Cataldi probably will travel with us, but are not in great shape.

“The others will be ready, except for suspended Manuel Lazzari, while Senad Lulic, Stefan Radu and Lucas Leiva are out for the rest of the season.”
