Higuain is almost certain to miss Milan’s Europa League clash with Real Betis on Thursday after taking a blow to his hip at Udinese last weekend, but the striker should be back against parent club Juventus this Sunday.

“We’ve shown our enthusiasm in the last three games,” Cutrone told Sky Sport Italia.

“We’re a great bunch of lads and we often go out for dinner together. We’re a very close-knit group.

“We lost the derby and were rightly criticised, but we stuck together and picked up three straight wins.

“Higuain? I’m waiting for him. We all know how important he is. We’re all waiting for him.”
