Milan striker Patrick Cutrone’s 12 goals this season represents the second-best tally for a player Under-20, beaten only by Kylian Mbappé.

The youngster scored twice against Spal yesterday, taking his total to 12 in all competitions – five in Serie A, five in the Europa League and two in the Coppa Italia.

According to this morning’s Gazzetta dello Sport, only one player in Europe under the age of 20 can better that tally, Paris Saint-Germain’s Mbappé.

Ibrahima Niane of Metz and Lyon’s Houssem Aouar are both on five, with Moise Kean, who is on loan from Juventus at Verona, and Christian Pulisic of Borussia Dortmund both on four.
