Cristiano Ronaldo is having a tough time at Manchester United and Juventus ‘surely don’t miss’ the Portuguese star, according to a report in Italy.

Ronaldo has caused controversy by travelling to Portugal on the day of the Manchester derby last weekend. One of his sisters denied on social media that the former Juventus striker had sustained an injury, suggesting that he would have been excluded from the starting XI because of a tactical choice.

Five times Cristiano Ronaldo abandoned his teammates at Juventus

Ronaldo scored 101 goals in 134 appearances in Turin before his sudden return to Manchester United this past August. Juventus did struggle immediately after the striker’s departure and dearly missed his goals in the first part of the campaign. However, they signed a more than valuable replacement in Dusan Vlahovic in the January transfer window and the Serbian striker has already scored four goals in his first eight appearances with the club.

La Gazzetta dello Sport transfer expert Carlo Laudisa comments on Cristiano Ronaldo’s situation at Manchester United, claiming that Juventus don’t miss the superstar.

‘CR7 is always on the run,’ he wrote on Instagram.

‘In August, he ran away from Turin to seek glory to United. Now he runs away from Manchester. Does he have regrets? Juventus certainly do not miss him.’ Ronaldo signed a two-year deal at Old Trafford with an option for a further season.

  1. Another absolute non story that again is just put out to make Juve fans happy, no one cares about CR, most didnt when he arrived in Italy and now Juve fans don’t after he left

  2. @mark “no one cares about CR, most didnt when he arrived in Italy ”

Yeah, sure. Not that we are talking about the most recognizable active athlete in the whole world right now. Not that it was the most shocking football transfer of the decade or anything like that. Not that pundits, betting companies, fans etc. suddenly put Juve in the favourites to win that year’s CL when nobody was considering them the previous years. Surely it was an indifferent move that nobody bat an eyelid for. Yeah… keep coping mark.

  3. Okay kind of fed up of reading ppls complaining about Ronaldo and Conte, these are ppl that have contributed immensely to Italy and these articles are vital.

Ronaldo scored more than 100 goals for Italy and actually liked Juv, he left for the same reason Pirlo-they Allegri had issues with these players. And Allegri although I like him somewhat, is waxing thin with the Juv base.

Keep telling me everything about Ronaldo and Conte it’s fine with me and I am Italian using an English name – because I love everything about England even though O root for the Italians National Team.

  4. He’s gone now, stop giving him so much attention. There is enough players left in serie A to write about.

  5. Bitter Juve fans drinking their bicerin with salty tears in it. Ronaldo made Juve relevant again. All the lies about players being held back in his shadow proven this season to be lies. Ungrateful fools.
