While Liverpool have joined Inter and Milan as contenders for Domenico Criscito, it's reported he'll join Russians Zenit next week.

The Genoa defender is hot property on the transfer market and was thought to be waiting for the summer to make a decision on his future.

However, newspaper reports suggest he could leave Marassi and Italy within a matter of days.

The Russian transfer window does not close until March 15, so Luciano Spalletti's Zenit St Petersburg are busy reinforcing their squad.

It is claimed Criscito is in advanced negotiations with Zenit for a move worth €18m and the Gazzetta dello Sport believes it could be completed “within hours.”

Criscito will not play against Inter on Sunday, as he is sitting out a ban.
