Domenico Criscito's move to Napoli has collapsed after the Genoa man agreed to join Russian giants Zenit, according to La Gazzetta dello Sport.

The defender's agent maintained that he was still discussing personal terms with the Azzurri, but it seems that Luciano Spalletti's side have now hijacked the move.

The Italian international has reportedly signed a four-year contract with Zenit.

The latter reignited their interest in the World Cup player, 24, after they failed in an attempt to net him during the January transfer window.
