CSU Craiova Coach and former Italy Under-21 boss Devis Mangia insists his side will look to “bring their ‘A’ game” against Milan.

Milan take on Craiova in the first leg of their Europa League third-round qualifier on Thursday, and Mangia – who also once coached Palermo – made it clear his team would not be pushovers against the Rossoneri.

“I know Milan’s style of play, but they’re different this season, compared to the last few,” he said at a Press conference.

“It’s a great event for us and the city, it’s a very important and difficult match for us, and we’ll put our cards on the table.

“We’ll get on the pitch, trying to bring our ‘A’ game, and then we’ll see what happens.”

Mangia is joined at Craiova by former Juventus and Italy Under-21 midfielder Fausto Rossi, who only signed a fortnight ago.

“We’ll be at our best for this match, we’ll all give it our best shot,” the 26-year-old added.

“As an Italian, playing Milan’s always special and getting back into Europe will be an incentive for them.

“Still, we’re motivated to give a good account of ourselves. Playing in Europe doesn’t happen every day. I’m lucky to play at this level.”
