Serie C side Bari have a growing COVID-19 cluster in their pre-season squad, as there are now nine positive players.

Another two members of the side tested positive today, bringing the total number to nine.

Bari, who are owned by Napoli President Aurelio De Laurentiis, announced they have closed their pre-season training camp early.

The players all left the ground in three medical grade vehicles, ensuring they can continue their isolation until reaching their homes, where they will go into quarantine.

Spezia and Empoli have already had COVID-19 cases during pre-season, while others such as Torino and Genoa cancelled friendly matches due to the pandemic risks.
