Miralem Pjanic is desperate for a return to Serie A after his Barcelona experience, but it could be for Inter rather than Juventus.

The Bosnia and Herzegovina international has made no secret of his desire to come back to Italy, as he does not fit into new Blaugrana coach Ronald Koeman’s plans.

A return to Juve just a year after his exchange with Arthur Melo would be the ideal, but it is by far the only alternative.

According to Diario AS, Inter are also interested in potentially bringing Pjanic to San Siro for new coach Simone Inzaghi.

With Christian Eriksen not allowed to play in Italy with a defibrillator implant and Marcelo Brozovic reaching the end of his contract, Pjanic on loan could be a good move for both the player and club.

The main concern will be with his wages worth more than €8m per season, which Inter would not be able to shoulder in full.
