Giuseppe Marotta confirms Antonio Conte will return to Juventus this week – for a visit in his role as Italy CT.

Conte spent three seasons on the Juventus bench, guiding the Bianconeri to the Scudetto in each of those seasons, and achieving a record points total last year.

However, the former midfielder dramatically quit the club in pre-season, before taking up the role as Azzurri CT. The Coach has been visiting Serie A clubs throughout the season, and will this week make a return to Vinovo.

“This week will see him [Conte] at Vinovo again,” the Juventus director general confirmed.

“It will be Thursday or Friday.

“The relationship with Conte is great, and we really want to help his work with the national team. However, we have a lot of commitments on our calendar.”

Conte has requested more time for Italy training camps, but it is thought that Juventus will refuse to release their players.
