Roberto Mancini’s side struggled to a draw with Empoli on Saturday, and sit ninth in Serie A, but the Chilean is still confident of finishing in the top three.
“The first few months were a bit complicated,” former Cardiff man Medel admitted in an interview with Chilean newspaper La Cuarta.

“The first few months were a bit complicated,” former Cardiff man Medel admitted in an interview with Chilean newspaper La Cuarta.
“The squad has struggled a bit and as a result we’re not in the position a club like Inter should be, but I’m confident that at the end of the season we’ll be in at least the top three.
“I’ve been a starter for Inter since my first game in Italy, and that’s not an easy thing achieve.
“Of course, there’s a period of adaptation. Italian football is more tactical than English football, so I’ve had to acclimatise.”
