Eriksen returns to Inter after scoring three goals in three games with Denmark and Conte admitted he will rotate in the next seven games, starting with Milan on Saturday, and give Eriksen an opportunity to convince him of a regular place in the starting line-up.

“I have fewer problems than other times, in terms of choices to make,” Conte admitted at a press conference.

“That’s for sure. Tomorrow will be the first of seven every three to four days.

“We also think about the Champions League, so the rotations will be necessary. I’m calm, maybe tomorrow we will start with three midfielders, then three different on Wednesday and others on Saturday.

“They will all be protagonists; I’m working well with everyone as long as there’s availability which will be key to this season.

“It’s important to enter the pitch and make an impact immediately.”

The Denmark international said he was always happy to return to the national team, where the coach lets him play.

“If he plays little or less at Inter, I don’t know. For me, he’s playing the right amount while respecting the team.

“I can make mistakes, but I’m happy with what Christian brings to the group and I think he is too. There will be space for him, as for all the others. It will be a long and exhausting season.”
