Leandro Castan could be back for Roma before the end of the season, as the club confirmed he’ll return to training.
It was expected that the Giallorossi would announce this evening that Castan can return to training, after a visit to medics today and the club has confirmed this on its official website.
“Leandro Castan had a check-up earlier today that showed he is recovering very well following his operation,” Roma said in a statement.

“The player will begin training again and will gradually start to head the ball and increase his workload.”
The 28-year-old has made just one appearance this season, having undergone brain surgery in December.
