Conference League Round of 16 draw results: Fiorentina-Sivasspor, Lazio-AZ Alkmaar

Fiorentina have been drawn with Sivasspor in the Conference League Round of 16, while Lazio will face Dutch side AZ Alkmaar.

The draw for the Conference League Round f 16 took place in Nyon on Friday.

Fiorentina have picked Turkish side Sivasspor while Lazio will face AZ Alkmaar. Both Serie A clubs were unseeded teams in the draw, meaning they will play the first match at home on March 9. The return leg will be played the following week.

The Tuscans beat Portuguese side Braga 7-2 on aggregate in the knock-out play-off stage, while Ciro Immobile’s goal at the Stadio Olimpico against Cluj last week was enough for Maurizio Sarri’s side to get a spot in the Round of 16 after a 0-0 draw in Romania yesterday.

The Biancocelesti dropped to Conference League from Europa League after finishing third in their group.

Juventus and Roma also learned their European opponents on Friday. The Turin giants will face Freiburg in the Europa League Round of 16, while José Mourinho’s side will meet La Liga side Real Sociedad.
